The end of June always brings with it the Intermountain School Recognition Day. This year, with parents, grandparents, guardians guests and staff looking on, James, Intermountain graduate, spoke about his experiences at Intermountain as an inspiration for the students.
In addition, music teacher Margaret O’Connor produced a wonderful musical tribute with the theme, “It’s A Wonderful World.” The kids enjoyed singing this Louis Armstrong song as well as dancing to Katy Perry’s, “Firework.”
After the musical program, teachers and technicians awarded special recognition to each child. Awards included, “Best Thinker,” “Most Patient,” and “Hardest Worker.” Later kids and parents strolled the campus and enjoyed a wonderful barbeque picnic.
