A new state-of-the-art mental health center will open this weekend.
The Intermountain Community Services Center will host its public welcoming ceremony this Saturday at 1:30PM with a ribbon cutting. The 22,000 square foot facility has licensed mental health specialists to deal with a wide spectrum of issues from children who need inpatient treatment for psychiatric disorders, to adolescents with behavioral problems.
Intermountain Clinical Director Elizabeth Kohlstaedt: “This really commemorates Intermountain’s movement into the community of Helena, we’ve always been a part of Helena but we’ve been sort of away on a hill.”
Last year Intermountain served 13-hundred children in Helena.
The address of the new community center is 3240 Dredge Dr. The ceremony is at 1:30pm on April 20th. There will be a key speaker, Susan N. Dreyfus, the president and CEO of United Neighborhood Centers of America and Ways To Work, and a Member of the FEI Behavioral Health Board of Directors.
